Last week-end I was invited with a couple other blogger by l’Atelier Folklore for the presentation of their new collection. L’atelier Folklore is a brand that offers clutches and art-de-vivre products, created by Marcia Von Saint George – Aguirre in 2015. She created this brand to put a light on mexican craftmenship in a fairtrade approch, while expressing her creativity. She also took the leap as she wanted to stay connected to home, Mexico. She warmly welcomed us close by Place Vendome, at Nina’s Marie Antoinette. The setting was beautiful. Very parisian and feminine. I actually got to see Karla, my friend and blogger of Karli’s Tips. She is a friend of Marcia’s. What I have to say is that the collection of clutches feels vibrant as much as for the colors than the prints. We can feel the balance between both the mexican craftmenship and the french elegance. It’s the perfect piece to complete an outfit or gift a loved one, the holidays beeing righ around the corner. For the event Marcia asked us to choose a cluth of the collection and shoot ourselves with it. She hired the services of Charlotte a professional photographer to shoot us one by one. Once the shoot was over, we enjoyed staying a little while at Nina’s to get to know the brand better and talk to each other with bubbles, tea and cake. That snack was delicious.
