5 TIPS TO MORE SELF-ACCEPTANCE

This content will soon be available in English. Ca m’a permis de me…

DO WHAT FEELS GOOD

Photos : Kirsten A. It’s crazy how weight is something I obsess about and see as an issue. Two days ago, I was horrified because I didn’t fit in my friend’s beautiful dress. Did I mention I had champagne and snacked a little ? In my eyes,  I’m always TOO thick . It’s the first time I am actually acknowledging my body image issues. And it’s been stuck with me for a while.  It was already the case 15 years ago when I was 54 kg. I wonder why I am so hard on myself ? I am sure I am not the only one it’s an issue for. So why not make it a conversation over on Multicolore Paris ? When it becomes an obsession… Focusing so much on my weight has become such an obsession,…

MY NEW DO AT GILLES BOLDRON

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but these day I am so motivated and focused that I set a goal to offer content at least 3 times a week, publishing preferably on mondays, wednesdays and fridays. I am also working on a column on the theme ” the passionates”  that I started a while ago. So stay tuned. More interesting for you guys is to come. Today it’s all about hair talk. I am telling you all about my hair change that was going through my mind for weeks. I feel like style is not only about the clothes you put on but also cool accessories, nice make up, a nice hairstyle that feels right and makes us shine but most importantly is about a positive and right mindset. Those people who have style that…

The Maze

You can’t imagine how surprise I was when I looked at myself in the mirror, admiring the hair-do Textures by Sally had just done on my  braids. It was certainly “over the top” but so artistic and pretty, that I just loved it. And also said to myself in an eye-blink that it would make wonderful pictures. Textures by Sallly  won the professional prize for the hair styling contest on afro hair of Boucle d’Ebène 2015. Never would have had imagine, when i went to last day of Labo International I’d come back home with such an elaborated hair-do. To me, with the lenghth of my braids, I didn’t imagine I coud do anything besides what it already was. Sally’s technique proved me wrong. In 15 minutes, she created a maze like hair-do on mt head.…

The art of braids

Hello mes poupées !  Hi dolls! I went for a change again ! Just like that ( well I thought about it  a little), I have decided to go for another round of braids that I had already done a couple months ago and that I shooted  here, here ou encore here. I loved the blond experience, so I wanted to go with something more redish. The reactions of me turning blond  were very black/white and funny. You had those who loved it and others that clearly didn’t approve at all. I love creating controversy! lol This time, I went for a color 30 that corresponds to bright auburn. And I so happy with it. Great joy to spend part of my spring with this new do. I thought I could show you the process of this hair change…

My face routine with Nuhanciam Paris

Hi lovelies, As I have been used to be writting a lot more about fashion & style, I have been wanting for a while now to tell you more about beauty and body care in general ( hair and skin). So today I am doing just that, as I am telling you or let’s say showing you a part of my skin care routine with Nuhanciam Paris. For those who don’t know that brand, it’s a french cosmetics brand that is specialised for dark skins. I have started using these  products quite recently ( about 2 months ago) and have to say that it has done justice to my skin. Those products are the Gentle scrub instant skin radiance and the Purifying radiance mask below. I used one after another for more results. 1 –…

NHA 2015 : Felicia Leatherwood’s Workshop

As promissed, I am detailing Felicia Leatherwood’s workshop that I particularly loved at Natural Hair Academy 2015. Felcia Leatherwood is THE hair stylist of natural hair in the U.S. ( for U.S readers, you may already know who she is). She travels around the world from conferences to conferences to put to light the beauty of afro natural hair, thanks to her expertise and creativity. I would see her like somekind of hair guru, as more than her expertise, she brings to the table her whole universe and her philosophy. She is a partner of Natural Hair Academy since day 1 and I had that grat feeling that she felt at home. For her conference for which the audience was packed, she did a recap of afro hair types. As I am the kind of…

My Outfit for Natural Hair Academy 2015

Hi lovelies ! How are you ? Did you spend a nice Easter ? I had the best time with my family and we ate like royals. But can’t you guys out of my mind. Never stop thinking about the blog.  I have so much to show you that today, you won’t have only one but two articles. It’s the first time I am trying this and I won’t do it often. After my latest article on the atmosphere of the NHA 2015 (here). her is the look I had for the event. I created that look as I was super late. It was crazy. Originally, I was supposed to wear another piece but I changed last minute for convenience. It’s crazy how outfit ideas come to my mind. Like flashes. The flawless trousers I…
