EL SALER, VALENCIA

Back in August 2018. At that time, I’m still on a family vacation in Spain. The weather is nice, it’s hot and life in Valencia is chill.  Our days are divided between visits to the Cabanyal Market, swimming at the Playa de la Malvarossa or strolling around the city center. We were in a  kind of holiday routine that I think is really enjoyable when traveling with family (in my case with my parents, my sister and a friend of hers). To give a little boost to this pleasant but slow-paced holiday, with my sister and her girlfriend, I decided to go visit El Saler. El Saler is a town located south of Valencia and is the site of a unique natural environment, which is classified under environmental protection, the Albufera Natural Park, extending over…

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY WITH A KEY LIME PIE

Happy 4th of July nuggets ! I know that for you my fellow americans, it’s a huge celebration and that you must all be living your best life, enjoying picnics, BBQ’s , parades or pool parties or whatever traditions you may go with . I always considered I was far from being a traditional american as unfortunately I don’t really celebrate most events.  My way of life is very french oriented as is it the place I grew up and have lived for the past 20 years. But still, I want to celebrate too and what better way than to do than food ? ( I have a huge smile on my face right know). Do you remember how I told you some time ago,  that I had loads of food content in store ?…

LE PARIGOT, NOLITA NYC

Hi beautiful souls ! How are you doing ? Do you remember I said I would dedicate a whole segment to “food” from now on ? Well this is it  ! I started a food blog named ” Déjeuner & Diner” same time last year, as an experiment ( my love for blogging though). I created quite some content that I never really promoted, so very few people saw it. Eventually, I deleted it. But I still wanted to share the content created. So for the next couple of week, I’ll publish that content. It’s all about spots in different places I have been to and home recipes. Today, I tell you more about a restaurant I went to in New York about two years ago. I miss New York. Immensely. So this is a…

UPTOWN CAPRI

How could I forget to post the pictures of my look I shot in Capri ? As I believe nothing happens randomly, let’s say it was meant to be. I need sun guys, or at least the idea of sun and warmth. It’s 1°C in Paris ( laughs & sobs). The memory of my italian  summer vacation is going to warm our hearts. Shall it ? This series of pictures were shot in the center of Capri.  To have access to it, you must climb to the top of the Island. I climbed by taxi with Kirsten and Victoria ( my sister and her friend). It was a beautiful ride. I saw typical houses, narrowed streets and  those pinky flowers that I love. Capri is one of those dreams I was able to briefly touch. You…

An afternoon in Coney Island
